Alisa Abramova, a Chaos Manager

6 January 2026

Hey there!👋 Well-well, it’s time to introduce myself.

I’m Alisa Abramova, an MA in International Relations, a senior writer and editor at Sumsub, where I write, edit, and occasionally sprinkle a little magic into AML compliance content (plus try to enlighten folks on fraud, AI, and global regulations). (Some of my articles have even been so good that a few competitors couldn’t resist “borrowing” them: Original“Borrowed”

— flattery or copyright infringement? 🤔 You decide.)

I’m also a mother of a hyperactive 5-year-old, who ensures that my attention is never fully mine. This explains why my posts here aren’t regular, why I sometimes abandon art projects mid-way, or why I have to skip a business trip now and then. Motherhood: it’s the ultimate content editor.

When I’m not wrangling work deadlines or tiny humans, I’m a travel-obsessed writer, exploring Europe (in particular Cyprus, where I’ve lived for more than seven years), Asia, and anywhere that serves coffee strong enough to fuel a 7 AM editorial meeting.

I design things, write things, manage creative projects in The Sumsuber, and create new educational formats for my ADHD kid (who’s both my challenger and sponsor of my creative ideas). I also endlessly chase aesthetic perfection — usually simultaneously — which probably explains why my Behance page exists.

Basically, I juggle emails, cappuccino, art, travel, and kid energy — and sometimes, just sometimes, all of it comes together in something worth reading.

Drop me a message on LinkedIn if you want to keep in touch!

Sincerely,

Alisa Abramova
